This bathroom remodel was part of a larger renovation in a 1950's Chehalis hillside home.  It wasn't the blue bathtub that prompted this project; it could simply have been refinished.  The problem was, the master bedroom had no tub or shower.  Although a small addition was considered to increase space, another affordable alternative was to remove an interior wall and acquire the space from the adjacent full bath in the hall, which the owners wished to update anyway:

Though the hall bath lost a tub, the home owners now have a full bath in the master suite, and we were still able to add a shower in the now smaller hall bath:

The hall bath brightened up with natural marble floors and marble shower surround, a custom corner sink and enhanced lighting with a level 5 smooth wall finish before painting.
